Quick start

Use this checklist to start writing quickly in Scriptorium.

1. Open the app

From the landing page, click Open app or Start the alpha.

2. Create your first note

• Click New note.
• Add a title.
• Write markdown in the editor.
• Sync to save your latest updates to Drive when connected.

3. Add tags for discovery

Use comma-separated tags, for example ideas, reading or work, draft.

4. Find notes quickly

• Use the top search field.
• Search by title, body text, or tags.

5. Start a writing project

Switch to Combine mode, create a project, then add notes into a project stack and compile them into a draft.
